Frozen Four Thunderdome Pool Results
For those who missed it because you were busy pushing people off the ledge this weekend…the Frozen Four is set. On one side of the bracket, are teams with decades of national championships and Frozen Four appearances. Number one seeds Boston University and North Dakota will meet on Friday in a virtual home game for BU. On the other side of the bracket, Providence will face Nebraska-Omaha. Providence hasn’t been to a Frozen Four since 1985 and UNO is a Frozen Four virgin.
BU’s top line of Eichel, Rodrigues and O’Regan is a juggernaut. It’s worth watching the tournament just to see them play. The Hawks still have four prospects playing:
North Dakota – Nick Schmaltz (F), Luke Johnson (F) and Nick Mattson (D)
Nebraska Omaha – Luc Snuggerud (D)
But really, who cares. This is all about the gambling. And it looks like The_FFF has amassed an insurmountable lead with her strategy of picking 3 and 4 seeds, even though she can’t score another point going forward.
